Updated Rulebook, Errata, and Discord Server

We are ecstatic that Paragon has started to hit gaming tables worldwide, and we want to thank all of you again for supporting the game and all the great feedback.
 

Due to some of the responses and observations, we have released an official update to the rulebook that can be found here: http://paragonecg.com/assets/paragon-rulebook.pdf. This version of the rulebook clarifies many points and has an updated glossary, among other features.

We are also announcing an official errata page for Paragon. While all tabletop games strive for no flaws on release, it is in the nature of card games like Paragon to require balancing and adjustments. Accordingly, we’ve issued errata for several cards; most of these changes will only clarify or improve how the card functions with Paragon’s rules. In addition, we have made changes to balance or correct for potential degenerate game states in a couple of cases.  You can find the errata list and updated card text at: http://paragonecg.com/#errata.

Updates on the website including recommended starter decks

All, 

   As Paragon is starting to hit tables, we wanted to make sure you had more tools to learn the ins and outs of the game quickly.  With that in mind, we've published two recommended starter decks that you can put together quickly to get you started playing and learning right away.  There are also some handy tips on piloting each deck.  Check them out if you are interested in a quick start: http://paragonecg.com/#learn

Paragon Has Arrived! Let The Trials Begin!

We could not be happier to announce that Paragon has officially arrived, and shipments have begun! The games look great, and despite the unexpected delays, we believe it will be worth the wait. So take a peek at the attached pictures and celebrate with us!

Many of you in the United States could have the game as early as this weekend.  The remainder of the games will go out today and tomorrow, and U.S. and Canadian backers should have the game in hand before the end of next week.  

Our international buyers are looking at a 1 to 3-week wait for final delivery.  You can track your shipment through Backerkit, and you will receive tracking updates to your email.

Please reach out to us at [email protected] or on Facebook with your questions, concerns, and feedback in the coming weeks.  Please get out there and rate us on BGG and other sites, and please help us spread the word and grow the audience.  We are shipping games to 40 U.S. states and 15 countries, and we will soon be offering Paragon directly from our website as well as Amazon and select gaming stores in the U.S. Right now, players can continue to purchase from our Backerkit store: https://paragonecg.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders

Update on Shipping

All, 

     We just heard from our shipping partner that there have been further delays due to a lack of trucks with the necessary pallet-loading equipment available.   We are incredibly disappointed, and we apologize for these additional delays.  The latest estimate is that we receive the games mid to late next week.  We will, of course, get the games out asap, and we will update everyone as soon as we know more. 

    This has been a difficult time in the board game industry (for many industries that rely on overseas producers), and costs and times to ship and produce games have absolutely skyrocketed.  We feel fortunate to have been able to get Paragon produced and to the U.S. before the worst of these logistics challenges set in, and we appreciate your continued understanding as we await the final delivery.  We are at the mercy of the shipping company and U.S. import infrastructure, and we really thank you for your patience with us as we never imagined or accounted for delays of this magnitude.

Update on Delivery

All, 

  The shipping company has updated us, and Paragon is set to arrive in the U.S. on the 19th and leave the U.S. warehouse on the 23rd. Therefore, the games should easily arrive on or before August 2nd at our warehouse, and shipping will begin immediately once the games arrive. 

   Thanks again for your support (and your patience).  Look for another update as soon as we hear more from the shipping company.
